Within the next few hours we'll be trying to upgrade some of the services running on our server. Teabot may not be available until we complete the upgrade. We're sorry for the inconvenience, and we're asking for your patience.

UPDATE: Server upgrade was successful, and we hope that Teabot's reliability will be a bit higher. Please, contact us if you notice any problems caused by the upgrade.

Today we're introducing Teabot 0.1.6.1, with few bugfixes and one new feature. So, what's changed?

  • If you're listening to music and have the 'Publish Tune' option enabled in your client, lyrics command searches for the lyrics of the current song listened by you (#105).
  • trim command is now choosing correct language (#122).
  • Bug (#124) in XEP-115 implementation is fixed.
  • Improvements in German translation.
  • Some other minor changes (sending messages, displaying debug info).

As always, please report any bugs and problems with the new version.

Many days have passed since the 0.1.5 version, probably too many, but unfortunately we don't have as much time as we want and need. Anyway, there are some big news in the new 0.1.6 version.

First of all, thanks to one of Teabot's users, Teabot is now available in German. We're very grateful for all the time and work spent creating this translation. Thanks!

The second big change is something you've been asking for very frequently in suggestions: the possibility to save command, so that now you can call it multiple times, without writing the command name each time. Just type !any_command (notice the exclamation mark) and then everything you type will be treated as an argument to any_command. So, e.g. after sending !t en2se command, every word you type will be translated from English to Swedish. And you don't need to write t en2se again. To remove the saved command type ! (single exclamation mark).

And of course, we've fixed some minor bugs.

We hope you'll enjoy the new version. Please contact us if you have any suggestions or problems.
